801 Grand Power Climb
Dear Friend,

I have signed up as a participant in the American Lung Association 801 Grand Power Climb, scheduled for February 25, 2007 in Des Moines. The 801 Grand Power Climb is a 630-foot ascent to the top of Iowa's tallest building. I will be competing in the fire division which consists of teams racing against time to climb 41 flights of stairs in full fire gear including an airpack. Since 9/11, I have often wondered what it was like to be a firefighter climbing one of the towers. I have set a personal fundraising goal of $500.00. The money raised from the stair climb goes to help the American Lung Association's fight for CURES, CLEAN AIR AND SMOKEFREE KIDS.

This is my first year competing in this challenge and I dedicate this climb to my kids, Hunter(5yrs) & Lexi(3 1/2yrs) who love everything about firefighters and firetrucks and look up to me. Please follow the instructions here to make a secure online donation.

Thanks in advance for your support.
