My nephew Craig suffers from Asthma. Most of you have probably seen a kid with an inhaler at school but that is just the tip of the iceberg. This condition effects everyone in the family, Craig is only 3 years old and when he gets sick, he has to receive breathing treatments around the clock. Most parents get to start sleeping through the night when their kids are no longer infants, my brother and sister-in-law have to suffer through sleepless nights and worry about whether or not this is going to be another hospital trip.
No child should have to endure the the trauma of not being able to breathe. Take a deep breath and know that you are lucky..you will never have to know what its like to feel like you are suffocating..unless of course you actually are, and thats a different issue altogether.
