2009 Lake Tour Bike Trek
Dear Family and Friends,

Thank you for visiting my Lake Tour Bike Trek fundraising page. My husband Jim and I will be participating in the Lake Tour Bike Trek (taking place on June 12, 13 & 14, 2009), which will challenge us to ride 50 miles per day from Illinois to Wisconsin (who talked me into this:)).

I need your help to reach my goal!
You can make a tax deductable online donation, right here on this page. If you prefer to write a check, contact me for the information.

It is actually for a great cause because:

- Lung cancer research has remained grossly underfunded for the last 35 years, and therefore, the 5 year survival rate has remained at a shockingly low 15% rate.

- Lung cancer will claim more lives this year than breast cancer, colon cancer, liver cancer, kidney cancer and melanoma COMBINED.

- Each year, 20,000 to 30,000 more non-smokers are diagnosed with lung cancer.

- Asthma is the leading serious chronic illness among children and is most prevalent among children under 18 years of age.

I hope you will be one of our sponsors by making a tax-deductible donation to support the American Lung Association. You can make a difference.

Thank you!!!

Karen Piszczek
