2009 Lake Tour Bike Trek
I plan to ride in the 2009 Lake Tour Bike Trek to raise money for the American Lung Association of Illinois - Greater Chicago. This fundraising event funds life saving research and programs for the 35 million Americans suffering from chronic lung disease. I hope you will support my efforts by making a tax-deductible donation to support the American Lung Association in their work to prevent lung disease and promote lung health.

This work is needed more than ever because:

- Ninety percent of adult smokers started smoking before the age of twenty-one.
- Lung cancer has surpassed breast cancer as the number one cancer killer in women.
- An estimated 430,700 Americans die of smoking related diseases every year.
- Breathing problems are the number one causes of death in infants.
- Asthma is the leading serious chronic illness among children and is most prevalent among children under 18 years of age.

Any amount you can contribute is deeply appreciated.
