We climb and raise money to fight for healthy lungs & air for every American. The statistics are staggering. Lung disease is the No. 3 killer in the United States, responsible for 1 in 6 deaths. Every 4 minutes, an American dies from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This collection of progressive lung diseases is the fourth-leading cause of death in the country and is expected to move up to third by 2020. Asthma affects more than 22 million Americans, and that number continues to grow. We need your support to help the people who are suffering today and to keep America healthy tomorrow.
