Ron of Fairfield is taking another swing at big tobacco with his fifth annual softball tournament fundraiser for the American Lung Association of Connecticut. The event is in honor of Ron's sister, who died of lung cancer. Funds raised will be used for smoking prevention programs aimed at Connecticut youth.

 

"I wanted the money to go toward providing teens with the tools they need to be smoke free. It is easy for teens to rebel and weaken to peer pressure," Ron said. The focus is on fun for all ages and all abilities.
