Membership
American Lung Association of Washington
Dear Washington Thoracic Society Member or New Member:
It is time to renew or begin your membership to the Washington Thoracic Society (WTS).

The WTS is the scientific arm of the American Lung Association of Washington.  We provide knowledge, education, scientific expertise and integrity to the work of the Lung Association, which can in turn develop public policy and education to meet our mutual goal of keeping lungs healthy in Washington State.

The WTS has many other benefits to its membership.  For example, it has a strong and growing diverse membership of physicians, nurses, physician assistants and respiratory care practitioners.  The WTS also offers the Nurses Journal Club and important advisory roles like the Washington State TB Advisory Council, American Thoracic Society, and Washington Asthma Initiative.

Member dues support continuing education opportunities, including the Annual Winter Lung Day and Chest Conference in Leavenworth and the Summer Lung Day in Seattle.  Thoracic Clubs are held quarterly to share the most current information on pulmonary care.

Annual (July 1, 2006 - June 30, 2007) membership dues are $60 for Physicians and $35 for Nurses, Respiratory Care Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Fellows, Pharmacists, Medical Assistants and others.  Please take the time today to renew your membership by clicking on the Membership tab to the left.

Sincerely,

Cait Alexander
