In recent years, the interest in the relationship between the environment and health has risen. Many diseases have been linked to increased exposure to environmental factors. As research advances are made, physicians and healthcare providers must be updated on new approaches to preventing environmental factors that may lead to disease. For this reason, the American Lung Association of Texas, Houston and Southeast Region, is hosting a Continuing Medical Education event entitled:
Houston's Fifth Annual Environmental Health Conference:
An Inside and Outside Look at Environmental Lung Health.
This event will be held at:
The Briar Club
2603 Timmons Lane
Houston, Texas 77027
Saturday, October 7, 2006
7:30am-1:00pm
Contact Lauren Munn at 713-629-5864 for questions
Breakfast Buffet will be served from 7:30-8:30 upon registration
This CME has been planned and proudced by the TAFP and the American Lung Association as a strictly non-promotional continuing medical education activity. It has been made possible by educational grants from GlaxoSmithKline, Genentech, and Pfizer.
