Ready to be challenged? For over 38 million Americans suffering from chronic lung disease, just taking a single breath can be a challenge.
That's why the American Lung Association of Pennsylvania is hosting a one-day stair climb event. It's more than the same old 5K: participants will be going vertical in the Bell Atlantic Tower building in downtown Philadelphia. On Saturday morning, March 24th, participants will start just twenty seconds apart and scale 1,088 steps up. Once at the top, they will be able to enjoy a stunning view of the Philadelphia skyline and a party filled with great food, beverages, music and an awards ceremony.
Each step taken brings the American Lung Association of Pennsylvania one step closer to finding a cure for lung disease!
