of the University of Texas System.
We honor Chancellor Cigarroa for his commitment to improving the health of all Texans.
Notably, Dr. Cigarroa was instrumental in instituting the Division of Pulmonary
Diseases and Critical Care Medicare (including his strong support of the Lung Transplant Center)
at the University of Texas Health Science Center, creating a world-class facility in Central Texas.
Proceeds from this event will support research, awareness and education about lung disease
in Central Texas.
