Event:
American Lung Association of Florida's event is a one day bike tour designed to promote clean air through cycling.   Riders can choose 12, 20, 48 or 100 miles.   Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature in the spring.
Where:
Withlacoochee State Trail through Citrus, Hernando, and Pasco county in West Central Florida.   Starts at Ridge Manor Trailhead, 1 mile east of I-75 and State Road 50.   Our trail is the longest paved trail in Florida and listed in National Geographic's Traveler Magazine as one of the top 20 trails in the United States.   The World Wildlife Fund says our trail is "one of the top 10 coolest places you've never seen."
When:
Saturday, March 11, 2006 with kickoff 7-9 a.m.
Registration:
Entry Fee Registration $25 - ($12 for children 12 and under accompanied by adult) and includes commemorative T-shirt, continental breakfast from 7-9 a.m., light lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., as well as drinks and snacks.  There is a $2 additional charge for an XXL T-shirt.
Event T-shirts guaranteed to riders registered by February 26, 2006.   Walk-up registration accepted, includes T-shirt, if available.
SAG Stops:
4 SAG stops along the route.   Restrooms also available.   Support ends at 3 p.m.
Pledges Optional:
Incentives awarded to those who raise $100 or more.   Top three fund raisers will receive additional prizes.
Participants:
The event attracts an equal amount of males and females who are a group of recreational cyclists who are community-minded and fitness oriented.   A fun, friends & family weekend outing.   880 smiling riders enjoyed the Clean Air Bike Ride last year.
