Join the American Lung Association of Illinois-Iowa in the third annual "Blow the Whistle on Asthma" Walk this fall at locations throughout Illinois and Iowa.  You can choose from nine different walk locations including Batavia, Bloomington-Normal, Burlington, Carbondale, Des Moines, Edwardsville, Moline, Rockford, and Vernon Hills. 

Over 2,000 walkers participated in asthma walks across Illinois and Iowa during August and September of 2002, raising more than a quarter million dollars to fight asthma. Funds raised by the Asthma Walk benefit asthma research, Asthma 101 and Camp Superkids, a camp for children with asthma.  For information on forming a team, call 1-800-LUNG-USA or visit www.lungilia.org.
