Parking Information
Parking for the event is in the Upper North Lot . We ask that participants arrive by at least 8:45 to allow time to pick up their packet if they haven't already. If you arrive after 9:00am, you will need to park in the Lower North Lot. (map) Space is limited so please carpool with friends and family if possible.

8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. - Day of Registration & Check-in
9:30 a.m. Run/walk begins (Starting Line: Upper North Parking Lot)
10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. - Exhibitors, food and fun on the Plaza
The event will be held rain or shine - we cannot offer refunds.
Packet Pick-Up
Skip the long lines on race day and pick-up your bib and timing chip early!
Race packets will be available for pick-up at the following locations:
Friday, October 9th:
Republic Plaza (370 17th St., Denver): 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Runner's Roost Lakewood (437 S. Wadsworth, Unit B Lakewood, CO 80226): 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
All other packets will be available to pick-up on the race day in the Upper North Lot at Red Rocks Park. Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. in order to have ample time to pick-up your packet on race day.
Registration Deadlines
Online registration closes Saturday, October 10th. You may register on the day of the event, though we strongly discourage this option. If you do, please arrive at least by 8:30 a.m. Registering early gives you time to recruit friends and family, as well as collecting pledges that will help support the American Lung Association.
Route Length
The route is a 5K (3.1 miles) on park roads. The famous amphitheatre stairs will be the grand finale of the route. Participants will climb the stairs as they finish the 5K!
Bands Along the Course!
Enjoy a variety of bands and musical styles as you take on the challenge of Red Rocks Park!
Children
We encourage children of all ages to participate in this event. Please bring your kids and stay for the music! As a reminder, the course does end by climbing the amphitheatre stairs so strollers and wagons can be challenging on that leg of the race.
Stay for the Party!
Celebrate your accomplishments on the Plaza after the race. Enjoy food, interactive exhibitors and entertainment following the race.
Refunds
As a non-profit organization, the American Lung Association in Colorado considers the registration fee and pledges a donation and unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds. The race will be held rain or shine.
Event T-Shirts
Only participants who raise $50 in pledges will receive a signature long-sleeve event t-shirt. T-shirts can be picked-up on race day or at the awards party on November 12th. Start fundraising now to receive this unique event t-shirt and other exciting incentives. As a reminder, the registration fee does not count towards the $50 pledge minimum for the t-shirt.
Awards Party
All event participants are invited to a complimentary post-event awards party on November 12th at the Downtown Tavern (1949 Market St.) from 5:30-7 p.m. The event will toast to your running and fundraising accomplishments.
