Welcome to the American Lung Association Data Center
Privacy Policy
The American Lung Association® is dedicated to protecting the privacy of our online visitors. You may choose to supply personal information in eight different areas on this site:
·"Donating" to the American Lung Association: We recognize the importance of respecting the integrity of your name information and limit access only to personnel authorized to process your request.
When you make a gift donation, the amount of your gift is shown only on your receipt. The person or family you designate will receive an acknowledgment card in your name. We collect this information in order to honor your request to send an acknowledgement card. It is forwarded to their local lung association but is not included on any Direct Mail listings for the American Lung Association. Online visitors are also offered the option of choosing to let the American Lung Association contact them via email in the future.
·Online "Volunteerism" Submissions:
The online form in the Volunteer section of the site requests name, mailing address, email address, and a place where you can describe your area of interest. The information that you provide here is forwarded to the local lung association in your area, who will then contact you about volunteerism opportunities best suited to your interests.
The American Lung Association reserves the right to offer an e-communication option to our web visitors.
